Hope this helps.

[Start of Letter]

"....Anyways, am gonna recommend some taxi drivers I had good experience with in my last visit to morocco together with my in-laws.

They basically drive small cabs but they are natives of the city and seasoned drivers that can offer you their service as a guide included in the driving service (they only charge you for the drive, cheaper that way).

I think it will not hurt having their phone numbers.

Am not sure if you can physically make it(giving the long trip) to seize the opportunity and do the Hassan 2 mosque(La mosquée Hassan II) tour in that morning.

Hassan 2 mosque is not something I want you to miss out on. On the side of the mosque there is a museum where you get a ticket to go visit the mosque from the rears. A mosque guide will explain the design, the concept and a little about the prayer rituals. Just get your camera ready. It’s kinda the taj mahal of morocco. You can also do “la vieille Médina » « The old city » during the day (very busy at night not recommended).

In the evening I recommend having a tour at La Corniche d’Aain-Diab . It’s a series of activities along the beach, wide range of restaurants, swimming pools, dancing parties(think of it as Morocco’s Las Vegas) . There simply ask the taxi driver to bring you to the Belly Dancing(Danse orientale). There are some that start at midnight (not recommended) and those that starts at 730-8:00 pm recommended) . You can have your supper there, too (I had pigeon soup but you can have anthing you want).

Quartier des Habous :

It’s a long pathway of small shops of crafts (just zoom past marketers who may try to hard sell you their stuff and keep going deeper . They have very nice tea cups . Next to the Quartier des Habous, there are 2 huge nice gardens that you can visit(le parc de l'Hermitage et celui de La Ligue arabe).

So anything between 500-600 DH(90-100 CAD) is reasonable price for a small taxi tour of those places.
